Danielle Huerta - Dance & Visual Staff

Danielle Huerta has a background in Percussion, Dance, and Theatre.

Danielle has been drumming since her freshman year of high school. She marched bass drum for Highland High School's drumline all four years she attended (2011-2015), two of which she was selected to be section leader over the bass line (2013-2015). After high school she continued on to march two more years for Idaho State University's drumline. At that time she also marched bass for Toopercussion (2016) and Northstar (2017) indoor groups.

She has been dancing since the age of 11 and has continued up to current day. Her dance experience has included 6 years of competitive dance at a local Pocatello studio, The Dance Factory (2009-2015). Following that, she spent a year on Idaho State University's dance team, the Bengal Dancers (2015-2016) in which she supported the university's sports teams as well as had the opportunity to compete nationally. After her time with the Bengal Dancers she joined a local dance group, The Company Dance Collaboration and has been dancing with them since 2016.

Danielle graduated from Idaho State University in 2021 with a degree in Earth and Environmental Systems and a minor in Theatre. While she was there she learned theatre history, acting skills, and stage management. During her time at ISU she also continued to take dance classes such as ballet and modern.
